Project Description & Scope
The $26M Chanticleer Pedestrian Over Crossing Bridge project involved the installation of a reinforced concrete bridge over Highway 1. Mozamo Engineering, Inc. (Mozamo) played a vital role in providing comprehensive construction management and construction inspection services. The pedestrian bridge, supported by 66″ diameter CIDH (Cast-In-Drilled-Hole) piles, serves as a crucial pathway for pedestrians, ensuring safe and convenient connectivity over the highway. Mozamo oversaw the construction activities to ensure the bridge’s successful implementation.
Mozamo provided comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project photos, capturing the progress and milestones achieved during construction. Our team reviewed and responded to submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring adherence to project specifications and facilitating a smooth construction process and demonstrated our expertise in change management by writing change orders when necessary, accommodating modifications and ensuring that any deviations from the original scope were properly addressed. Mozamo played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Chanticleer Pedestrian Over Crossing Bridge project.
